complementary colors are the way to go

This is the first stab at a logo for a new sub-committee for the local AIA organization here in Austin. I still think this baybe needs a bit more TLC, but here is the idea so far. Design Voices is responsible for bringing together local architecture firms with local non-profits. I believe that this logo conveys pretty accurately the notion of collaboration, I am just worried that it may be too clean and corporate.

Hybrid Mutagenics

First stab at a composite object, both in model and in render

I downloaded Podium the other day and since that have had the insatiable desire to understand how to master and ultimately bend and break the program to my will. The initial results have done well but due to a recently discovered technique list, I have gone haywire.

This example above is derived from a sketch conceived at a friend's house. I have left my architectural doodling skills stagnant for too long, and I was very happy to exercise the dormant creative muscle. Hopefully this model will be the impetus to a architectural competition project that I will be working on for the next couple of months. I will post more info as I make it, but until then, please post your ideas of Hybrid Mutagenics and what that ambiguous name implies and conveys.
