Art Show

So this is it, the culmination of all the work I have done this summer. I am still working on a couple of pieces in typical architecture procrastination last-minute style, but I think the show will be flush with material. Look forward to subsequent posts detailing the work in the show with attached prices!!

Treasure Mammal
This is an old one that may be my most successful piece using only Illustrator. Credit for the font layout goes to the L in L & J Designs.

Art Rag

I would link up to the embarrassing website I made for this magazine. But I think I will wait until I finish the design and also get more content. This poster just came to me yesterday morning, I did not have to struggle with it at all. You can tell the very obvious allusions towards mahfood's work. I justify this by "learning from the best". Hopefully my own poster making skills will branch off soon and be defined individually, as opposed to catering to another master's art style.

Monahans

Monahans
This is a drawing from the sketchbook of a farmer's market in downtown Austin. I love this yuppie hippie movement, where its suddenly hip to where hemp sandals and buy all-natural free range root beer.
