Ivy? or generic vines?

I have had a friend request an ivy tattoo, and since then I have put some kind of reference to ivy in all my work. The stylized flow of the living shape works seamlessly for defining space and structure, from which a natural progressive composition may flourish. I wonder how these would look in vector....
